Drain clearing · Dallas-Fort Worth

Gutters overflowing? It's usually the drains.

Most overflow starts underground. The line your downspouts drain into is clogged, or its pop-up out in the yard got buried. We clear it, so the next downpour moves away from your foundation instead of pooling against it.

From$450

Up to 5 drains. Enough for about 3 in 4 homes.

Why gutters overflow

The clog is usually underground.

You see water spilling over the gutter. What you don't see is where it was supposed to go.

  1. 01

    Your downspouts drain underground

Most homes here run each downspout into a buried line that comes up at a pop-up 10 to 15 feet out in the yard.

  2. 02

Over the years, the pop-up disappears

Grass, mulch and silt build up until the pop-up sits lower and lower, then gets buried. The water has nowhere to go.

  3. 03

So it backs up into your gutters

The line fills, then the downspout, then the gutter. In the next downpour it spills over right at your foundation.

Where your downspout meets the ground is where the drain line starts.
Why it matters: water at the slab is the main cause of foundation trouble in Texas. And once rainwater hits the ground, insurance usually treats it as flood water, so the damage is on you.

We've done whole neighborhoods.

Homes built at the same time share the same buried drains, so one yard usually tells us what the whole street needs. Owners Garett Larson and Jason Jarvis stand behind every job.

Will this stop my gutters overflowing?

If the drains are the cause, yes, and they usually are. If it's the gutters or the slope of the yard, we'll show you and tell you straight.
